Description
Bachelor's degree in social work from an accredited school of social work and one year of directly related experience or;
Master's degree in counseling in a human services field and one year of experience in social work or counseling (Department of Social Services) or;
Bachelor's degree in a human services field from an accredited college or university and two years of directly related experience or;
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and three years of directly related experience (Department of Social Services).
Valid driver's license required.
Performs professional level social work by providing intensive social work services in serious and complicated cases that require the flexible use of a wide range of social
work skills;Performs investigations and in-depth assessments for cases involving protective services or alleged neglect or abuse and; Serves as an expert witness at court hearings, crisis interventions, and counseling as necessary. Should be familiar with how to access local resources and have the ability to collaborate within the community.
