The Campus Safety Associate plays a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, faculty, staff, and visitors on campus. Responds to evening and overnight concerns, while knowing College resources and who to delegate the concerns for a timely and appropriate response.
- Lock and unlock campus buildings according to set schedule and events schedule.
- Respond to emergency situations routed through the information center and forward messages to the appropriate individual.
- Respond to fire and other mechanical alarms.
- Basic facilities knowledge of plumbing and electrical safety.
- Performs routine and preventative maintenance.
- Assist with parking enforcement and reserved parking.
- Have thorough understanding and knowledge of campus resources.
- Maintain an appropriate level of professionalism and confidentiality.
