Description
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License, High school diploma or GED and 1 year of skilled utilities field experience; or An equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
- Assignment to work a variety of work schedules, including compulsory work periods in special, emergency, and/or disaster situations
Responsibilities:
- The role involves supporting the maintenance and troubleshooting of utility systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical components, and mechanical equipment
- Candidates will gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced technicians while contributing to the efficient operation of our facility
- Performing all routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance assignments that are assigned to the project's preventive and corrective maintenance and repair program
- Performing all work in a safe and professional manner by following established safety, operating, and emergency response procedures
- Performing all work to produce an end result that meets all goals and objectives set by project management

- Operate equipment for the rehabilitation of manholes and maintenance of the collection system
- Responds to and resolves customer complaints
- Performs record-keeping/data entry
- Record daily reading of equipment and processes
- Cleans and maintains facilities, buildings, and grounds
- Repairs yards following maintenance procedures
- Monitors inventory of parts, supplies, and chemicals/degreaser
- Communicates with co-workers on processes and job activities
- Assists in the inspection processes of sewer lines and manholes
- Assist in the maintenance and operations of the CCTV inspection system
- Occasionally assists in the location of utility lines
- Assist in Asset Management and Maintenance Programs Repairs and maintain sewer lines, manholes and lift stations
- Responds to emergency situations
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, Flexibility and extended shifts to meet the seasonal demands of the collection system
- Reliable and dependable attendance is an essential function of the position
- The candidate may be required to perform manual labor for extended periods occasionally in adverse weather conditions
