Description
IV Sedation & Oral Surgery
Lone Star Pediatric Dental & Braces is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. This role will support dental treatment in-office and will include travel to Blue Cloud Surgery Center for IV sedation and oral surgery procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with pediatric dental procedures and oral surgery cases.
- Travel with the team to Blue Cloud Surgery Center as needed.
- Assist during IV sedation treatments and surgical procedures.
- Prepare rooms, instruments, and supplies for treatment.
- Follow infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Support patient care before, during, and after procedures.
- Provide pre-op and post-op instructions to patients and families.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Dental assisting experience required.
- Experience with IV sedation treatments preferred.
- Experience with oral surgery procedures preferred.
- Pediatric dental experience preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification required.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Must be comfortable working with children and families.
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to travel to Blue Cloud Surgery Center as needed.
