Who You Are

E-Impact Marketing is hiring a part-time Sales Lead to own and improve our inbound sales process.

 

We are a full-service digital marketing agency that helps growing businesses generate leads, improve websites, strengthen SEO, run better advertising campaigns, and build smarter digital marketing systems. Many of our clients are in construction, home improvement, manufacturing, trades, and other service-area industries.

 

This is not an appointment-setting role. We are looking for someone who can lead qualified sales consultations, understand a prospect’s business, recommend the right marketing services, write proposals, follow up through close, and create a strong handoff to our delivery team.

 

The right person will also help us build better sales processes: qualification checklists, call scripts, proposal templates, pricing guardrails, objection responses, quoting workflows, CRM standards, and follow-up systems.

What You'll Do

  • Respond quickly to inbound leads, referrals, and partner-generated sales opportunities.
  • Lead sales consultations with qualified prospects.
  • Ask strong discovery questions to understand the prospect’s business, goals, pain points, budget, timeline, and decision process.
  • Recommend appropriate marketing strategies and services based on fit and need.
  • Write clear proposals and follow-up messages.
  • Follow up with prospects through close.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, deal stages, next steps, and pipeline details.
  • Coordinate with internal team members to scope work accurately.
  • Create high-quality handoffs to our account and delivery teams.
  • Help improve our sales process, documentation, scripts, pricing guardrails, proposal workflows, and CRM standards.
  • Follow up with interested responses from outsourced outbound campaigns.
  • Potentially support more proactive sales growth over time, depending on capacity and fit.

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who already has a strong enough sales and marketing foundation to contribute quickly.

 

You should have:

  • Consultative B2B sales experience.
  • Working knowledge of full-service digital marketing.
  • Ability to understand and discuss websites, SEO, paid search, paid social, content, local SEO, email marketing, CRM, lead generation, and conversion strategy.
  • Experience selling services, strategy, marketing, websites, or business growth solutions.
  • Strong written communication, especially for proposals and follow-up.
  • Strong verbal communication with business owners and executives.
  • Proven ability to manage follow-up, pipeline details, CRM updates, and next steps.
  • Ability to build processes, not just follow them.

Strong Preference

You will stand out if you have:

  • First-hand experience working with or selling to construction, home improvement, trades, manufacturing, or service-area businesses.
  • First-hand experience working with or selling to Plain communities, including Amish and Mennonites.
  • Agency experience.
  • Experience writing proposals.
  • Experience selling monthly retainers and one-time website/build projects.
  • Experience in improving sales systems, CRM processes, or sales documentation.
  • Comfort working in a small business where the playbook is still being built.
  • The ability to speak Pennsylvania Dutch.

  • Are organized enough to manage many opportunities without letting follow-up slip.
  • Care about setting clear expectations before a client signs.
  • Like creating structure, documentation, and repeatable processes.
  • Are comfortable working with leadership, strategists, account managers, and specialists to shape accurate proposals.
  • Can operate independently without needing every step handed to you.

Role Details

  • Part-time to start.
  • Estimated 15–25 hours per week.
  • Base plus commission.
  • Remote or hybrid, depending on fit.
  • Opportunity to grow into a larger sales leadership role over time.
