Job Description:
Note: These are vacancies for Part-time Faculty positions (up to 6 hours per week) starting September 8, 2026 and ending December 19, 2026
Note: These positions are located at 1001 Fanshawe College Blvd. London, ON N5Y 5R6
Why This Role Is Important
Reporting to the Program Manager of School of Advanced Manufacturing, Science and Transportation, part-time Professors are responsible for teaching courses within the programs and developing an effective learning environment for students.
Program Details
We require faculty qualified to teach across the following area:
What You’ll Bring
- Experience with applying safe, effective, and efficient methods to implement and complete construction projects
- Experience in the safe use, care, and maintenance of a variety of hand, portable, and stationary power tools typically used in residential construction
- Practical experience using and training on accurate, efficient, and effective use of construction tools.
- Excellent communication, team building and leadership and computer skills are expected
- Prior teaching experience in an academic setting is an asset
- Combination of excellent leadership and teaching skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
- Excellent communicator
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
- Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required
- Teaching experience with face-to face preferred
- Related industry work experience, previous College or Apprenticeship teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets
