Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced acute care setting while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to promote safe, effective, and positive patient outcomes.

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Collaborate with RNs, providers, and the interdisciplinary care team.
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate changes.
• Assist with treatments, procedures, medication administration, and activities of daily living.
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and an exceptional patient experience.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards.

Qualifications

1.     High School Diploma or equivalent required.

2.     Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.

3.     IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.

4.     Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

5.     Work experience in health care preferred.

 

Pay Transparency

Bridgton Hospital offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $27.00 to $30.75 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
