What You Will Do
Guide and comfort patients by clearly explaining imaging procedures and providing educational materials, ensuring they feel safe, informed, and respected at every step.
Prepare and position patients for their exams, collaborating closely with technologists and assisting with safe transport to ensure a seamless, efficient clinical workflow.
Champion radiation safety protocols to protect patients and team members from unnecessary exposure, maintaining a secure and compliant imaging environment.
Manage clinical spaces and inventory by disinfecting exam rooms, restocking vital supplies, and discharging patients to ensure the department is always prepared for the next patient.
Streamline departmental operations by organizing patient charts, matching films, and delivering accurate medical reports to physicians to facilitate swift, reliable diagnoses.
What You Will Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
- Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
Additional Preferences
- 4 shifts per week M-F with start times from 830a-5p and/or 1030a-7p and a weekend rotation with our interns
- BLS, prior imaging assistant experience a plus
