Rehab Aide

Responsibilities

Rehabilitation Aide works under the direct supervision of physical and occupational therapists and therapist assistants to assist with patient care; maintains the organization and cleanliness of the treatment space; and sets up and maintains cleanliness of equipment.

 

Responsibilities:

• Correctly positions and prepares patients for treatments as required.
• Assists patients with ADL’s as needed
• Regularly cleans and organizes the treatment space, storage areas and equipment.
• Cleans patient care equipment after every patient use.
• Cleans all hot pack and cold pack machines
• Returns equipment to its proper place and cleans/ prepares treatment areas between patient uses

Requirements:

Education:  HS Diploma/GED required

Previous patient care experience preferred

 

Skills: 

• Must be able to multitask and work in a fast paced department, organizing and maintaining the cleanliness of treatment space and equipment.
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills

Pay Range

USD $23.62 - USD $33.06 /Hr.
