Camp Coach - Men's Basketball (Adjunct)

The Summer Camp Coach is responsible for creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where campers can improve their basketball skills. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to adapt instruction based on individual and group needs. Camp Coaches collaborate with camp staff to ensure a positive experience for all participants.

Duties/Responsibilities

Basketball Instruction and Skill Development (50%)

• Lead station work focused fundamentals such as dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, etc.

• Provide positive feedback and encouragement to help campers build confidence and improve.

Camp Program Support and Supervision (30%)

• Supervise campers during stations, team practices, and games.

• Assist with other camp activities when needed and support overall camp operations.

Team Collaboration and Communication (20%)

• Work closely with other camp coaches to create a fun, organized, and inclusive environment.

• Participate in daily staff meetings and communicate camper’s progress or concerns.

• Model respectful, responsible behavior.

Minimum Qualifications

• This position is open to all individuals with prior experience or interest in coaching at the youth level.

Compensation Pay Range:

$14.50 /hour
