Position Summary
The Product Development Manager will be responsible for driving the development, management and growth of the KILIAN PARIS fragrance portfolio. Working closely with the Product Development & Product Marketing Director, the Founder and cross-functional teams, this role will lead product innovation from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with brand strategy, consumer insights, and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the fragrance portfolio and support the execution of the brand innovation roadmap and 3-year strategic plan.
- Identify market opportunities, consumer needs, and category white spaces to drive product innovation.
- Develop new product concepts and create product briefs aligned with brand positioning, consumer trends and business objectives.
- Partner with internal teams including Packaging Development, R&D, Procurement, Legal, Planning, Creative and Go-to-Market teams to deliver successful launches.
- Collaborate with external suppliers, manufacturers and fragrance houses and creative agencies to develop best-in-class products and experiences.
- Conduct competitive analysis, category reviews, and trend monitoring to identify growth opportunities.
- Partner with Consumer Insights teams to leverage qualitative and quantitative research in product development decisions.
- Establish and manage cost objectives to support profitability targets.
- Prepare and deliver innovation, strategy, and product presentations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Lead and contribute to annual global presentations, Global Roundtables, Brand innovation workshops, and Strategy presentations.
## Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in Product Development, Product Management or Product Marketing within the fragrance, beauty, or luxury industries.
- Strong knowledge of the fragrance category and luxury consumer landscape.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects from concept through launch.
- Creative mindset with a passion for innovation and consumer-centric product
development.
- Strong analytical, project management, and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
