As one of the largest plant growers in the Midwest, we deliver high-quality products to garden centers, grocery stores, and big box retailers across the region.We are seeking a Part-Time Merchandiser / Plant Display Associate to maintain visually appealing, healthy, and well-stocked plant displays at retail locations. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys horticulture, retail merchandising, plant care, and independent work.Location: Linwood, KSKey Responsibilities:Create and maintain attractive plant displays at assigned retail storesOrganize tables and hanging baskets, grouping similar plants and keeping displays fullProvide daily plant care: watering, pruning, removing dead leaves, and discarding unsellable plantsSweep and clean floors and display areas to ensure a tidy presentationTrack inventory levels and communicate updates to the Merchandiser LeadCoordinate with store management to secure prime display locationsConduct inventories and maintain accurate product counts as neededSkills & Requirements:Reliable transportation to assigned storesCell phone for regular communication with the Merchandiser LeadAbility to work independently and follow instructionsComfortable standing, bending, lifting, and performing physically active tasksInterest in horticulture, floral displays, and plant care is a plusMust be physically able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodationsWork Schedule:April 1 – September 30: 3 days per weekOctober 1 – March 31: 2 days per weekJob Type:Part-TimePay:Starting at $13.00 per hourWhy Work at Free State Growers?Be part of a growing horticulture and retail merchandising teamGain hands-on experience in plant care, floral displays, and retail merchandisingWork independently with a flexible scheduleHelp bring beautiful plants to homes and businesses throughout the Midwest
