Diesel Mechanic- Lead Diagnostic / Accelerated Diagnostics Technician- $20k bonus

Hill International Trucks, the Tri-State areas leading medium- and heavy-duty truck and trailer dealership, 

is currently looking for a highly experienced heavy-duty truck technician with extensive dealership experience and a current International Diamond Certification. This individual will fill an additional Lead Diagnostic / Accelerated Diagnostics role, supporting complex troubleshooting, efficient diagnosis, and timely resolution of customer concerns.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Advanced diagnostic skills, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to efficiently identify root causes and develop effective repair solutions. 
• They should be customer-driven, passionate about delivering exceptional customer experience, and enthusiastic about evolving technology and continued technical development.
• Strong communication skills are essential. The technician must be able to communicate technical findings clearly, efficiently, and professionally with customers, service management, and fellow technicians. 
• They must also be team-oriented, willing to collaborate and support other technicians, and committed to helping improve overall shop efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Candidates must be flexible and willing to work overtime as needed to support customer demands and business needs.

The sign-on bonus of up to *$20k is offered to candidates who meet these qualifications and bring the advanced technical expertise, dealership background, and leadership capabilities necessary to make an immediate impact in this specialized role. *Bonuses paid at 90-day review and with a 2-year employment commitment of service. 

Requirements

• 5+ years Dealership experience required
• Current International Technician Diamond Certification required
• Valid CDL Class A or B license preferred but not required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Requires standing for long periods of time
• Requires bending/stooping/kneeling for long periods
• Requires frequent repetitive hand motion
• Requires frequent lifting of 5 to 50 lbs
• Requires occasional lifting of 50 to 100 lbs
• Requires performing accurate, knowledgeable, detailed work
• Occasional exposure to engine exhausts fumes
• Works overtime as requires

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Occasional exposure to engine exhaust fumes
