Loan Documentation Processor

About this role:

At Wells Fargo, a Loan Documentation Processor plays an important role in supporting customers’ financial goals by ensuring loan transactions are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. In this fast-paced and collaborative environment, you will review, prepare, and validate loan documentation, manage a pipeline of transactions, and partner closely with underwriting, processing, and closing teams to support successful loan execution.

In this role, you will:

• Review, prepare, and process loan documentation for moderately complex loan products in compliance with internal and regulatory requirements
• Analyze borrower, collateral, and supporting documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy, and required verifications
•  Ensuring loan documentation is complete, accurate, and processed in a timely manner
• Identify and resolve documentation exceptions, escalating non-routine issues when necessary
• Support quality control efforts by reviewing documentation for accuracy and adherence to policies and procedures
• Collaborate with underwriting, processing, closing, and other internal partners to support successful loan funding
• Recommend process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and quality standards

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ year of customer service, loan administration, collections, or sales environment support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with loan documentation, loan processing, and transaction management within a bank, credit union, or financial services environment
• Knowledge of loan documentation, compliance requirements, loan closings, and regulatory or internal policy adherence
• Proven ability to manage high-volume loan processing and transaction management with accuracy, prioritization, and attention to detail
• Experience in loan processing across multiple loan product types, including consumer, commercial, mortgage, or small business lending, with knowledge of underwriting requirements and loan lifecycle process
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills to identify discrepancies and drive resolution
• Ability to manage process delivery and transactions in a deadline-driven environment while ensuring strong time management, attention to detail, and quality assurance
• Collaboration and communication skills within a team-based structure to support customer service and operational processing activities

Job Expectations:

•  Flexible to work in rotational shifts based on business requirements.
• Standard work schedule; however, candidates should be willing to provide weekend support if business needs arise.
• Comfortable working night shifts as part of operational environment.
