Fitness Instuctor / Personal Trainer

Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino is looking for a Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer to join our Spa & Wellness team, for season 2027.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino within the Spa & Wellness Department in Pylos, the Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer is responsible for maintaining accurately the fitness classes and scheduled program, as well as for maintaining the cleanliness of the Fitness & Wellness areas. The Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer reports to the Director of Spa & Wellness.

As Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Organize private and group classes, taking into consideration the guest needs & preferences, as well as colleagues’ classes.
• Conduct fitness assessments.
• Assist in the smooth flow of the guests’ journey throughout the day and offer advice to the guests, within the realms of knowledge.
• Maintain all equipment in good order and report any malfunctions immediately.
• Assist in equipment cleaning and maintenance checks.
• Maintain inventory of equipment/props and foresee guest usage of what and when needed, to coordinate ordering.
• Monitor effectiveness and popularity of Fitness programs, advising the Spa & Wellness Operations Manager of any necessary changes/additions etc.
• Attend training courses when needed.

As Fitness Instructor/Personal Trainer, we expect from you:

• Valid EU Passport or Hellenic Residence Permit.
• Degree in Physical Education or related field.
• Experience in a similar role.
• Good level in English.
