Job Description:

J. Post Haulage is seeking an experienced Grinder Operator to operate a grinder throughout the region. This is a hands-on role ideal for an operator who is confident working independently, managing multiple tasks on site, and maintaining a strong focus on safety.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate a grinder safely and efficiently

• Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance

• Complete mulching and land-clearing work as directed

• Assist with other site tasks as required

• Work independently while communicating effectively with supervisors and crew

• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

• Bonnyville

• Cold Lake

• Elk Point

• Smoky Lake

• St. Paul
  
  

Employees report to the shop in Elk Point each morning.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Class 5 driver’s license

• Heavy Equipment Operator (HEO) experience

• Experience operating grinders

• Excavator experience considered a strong asset

• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing site conditions

• Strong work ethic with a safety-first mindset
  
  

Preferred (Not Required):

• Previous site supervisor or lead hand experience
