The role strengthens internal delivery ownership by providing disciplined project leadership across business, SAP CoE, STEP, SST, Infrastructure, Architecture and strategic partners. It drives timely decisions, effective stakeholder engagement, predictable delivery, financial control and high-quality handover while applying SAP CoE standards, architecture guardrails and delivery methodology.

Job Summary

Your Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Major accountabilities: 

 

·     Project Mobilization and Planning

o  Define project scope, objectives, outcomes, delivery approach, milestones, governance, resource requirements and acceptance criteria.

o  Develop and maintain integrated plans covering business, functional, technical, data, security, testing, cutover and operational-readiness activities.

o  Establish clear roles, decision rights, ways of working and reporting routines across internal teams and delivery partners.

 

·     End-to-End Delivery Management

o  Lead projects through initiation, design, build, test, deployment, hypercare and transition to operations.

o  Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and changes against approved baselines.

o  Drive resolution of cross-functional blockers and ensure decisions are documented, owned and implemented.

 

·     Governance and Executive Transparency

o  Prepare concise status reporting, steering materials, forecasts, decision papers, risk insights and recovery plans.

o  Operate effective governance forums and escalate material variances with clear options, impacts and recommendations.

o  Maintain complete and audit-ready project documentation, approvals, RAID records, financial records and acceptance evidence.

 

·      Financial and Commercial Management

o  Own project budget planning, forecasting, accruals, purchase-order tracking, SOW governance, invoice validation and cost transparency.

o  Monitor vendor commitments, deliverables, milestones, service quality and commercial performance against contracts and plans.

o  Identify cost risks and optimization opportunities while protecting agreed scope, quality and business value.

 

·     Stakeholder, Team and Vendor Leadership

o  Build alignment across business process owners, SAP domain leads, architects, security, data, infrastructure and operations stakeholders.

o  Lead blended internal and external delivery teams, promoting accountability, collaboration, quality and timely escalation.

o  Ensure effective knowledge transfer and transition from project teams and partners into sustainable operational ownership.

 

·     Quality, Risk and Value Realization

o  Ensure delivery aligns with SAP CoE standards, clean-core principles, architecture guardrails, security requirements and release governance.

o  Track business outcomes, adoption, benefits, operational readiness and post-implementation actions through closure.

o  Capture lessons learned and continuously improve project methods, templates, estimation quality and delivery predictability.

 

 

Minimum Requirements

What you’ll bring to the role:

 

• 12+ years of experience in technology project delivery, including significant leadership of complex SAP projects or workstreams
• Preferred if candidate has pharma domain background and worked in GxP environments
• Proven delivery experience across SAP implementation, upgrade, regulatory, lifecycle, integration, data or transformation initiatives.
• Experience leading global, cross-functional and multi-partner teams in complex or regulated enterprise environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, written communication and executive reporting skills.
• Ability to drive outcomes through influence, establish accountability and maintain a strong focus on quality and business value.

 

Qualifications

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, Procurement, Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

·       Recognized project or program management certification and relevant SAP delivery certification preferred
