Job Description:


The Credit Support Associate supports Credit Officers in the underwriting, monitoring, and management of credit portfolios across Global Markets. This role serves as a key liaison between Credit Officers, Operations, and business partners to ensure accurate execution of complex financing and traded product transactions. The associate manages end to end credit processes, coordinates pre and post-closing activities, reviews client and transaction documentation, and helps maintain strong risk management controls. The role also contributes to operational excellence, including process enhancements, data quality improvements, and effective use of tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot



Responsibilities:

  • Support Credit Officers with underwriting, ongoing monitoring, and portfolio management of financing, treasury management, and traded product transactions.
  • Review credit agreements and related documentation (such as ISDA, MSFTA, Repo Agreements, MRA); extract key terms, covenants, and required deliverables.
  • Prepare and/or support interim monitoring documents, including review of financial covenants.
  • Maintain and clear system ticklers; source required financial statements, NAV statements, and other client materials.
  • Monitor compliance with credit agreements and internal risk policies.
  • Coordinate pre and post-closing activities, including due diligence, documentation review, and preparation of approval packages.
  • Review client prospectuses and transaction documentation to identify risk objectives and ensure alignment with credit policies.
  • Interact with Operations and internal partners to ensure accurate booking and lifecycle management of transactions.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues across multiple risk and credit systems (e.g., hierarchy setup, liquidity classifications, NAICS codes, country of risk).
  • Analyze and manage large data sets to identify trends, inconsistencies, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Leverage Microsoft 365 Copilot to improve efficiency in reviewing client documentation and performing analytical tasks.
  • Serve as a key liaison between Credit Officers, Operations, and business partners across Global Markets.

Required Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of experience in institutional banking or Global Markets
  • Knowledge of key industry documentation, such as ISDA, MSFTA, Repo Agreements, MRA, and Credit Agreements.
  • Ability to review prospectuses and transaction documents to identify risk elements and ensure policy compliance.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience managing large datasets using Excel or BI platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with credit and risk systems.
  • Ability to navigate and interpret data across multiple platforms to support underwriting and monitoring.

Desired Qualifications:


  • Understanding of trade exposure flows and how transactions impact credit and market risk profiles.
  • Knowledge of market risk concepts including interest rate risk, FX exposure, and counterparty risk.
  • Experience supporting client onboarding and reviewing prospectuses to identify risk and ensure policy compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly, operate independently, and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.

Pay and benefits information

Pay range

$30.21 - $44.18 hourly pay, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
