Lead Excavation Technician 

Full-Time Year-Round work

$23-30 hr/ plus commission

We are hiring an experienced Lead Excavator Technician to join our team, in this role you will operate a backhoe or shovel to dig for sewer, water and gas line repair according to job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operates a backhoe or shovel to dig for sewer, water, and gas line repair according to job requirements
• Breaks concrete to prepare area for digging
• Digs for sewer, water and gas line repair and new installation
• Backfills holes and areas that have been serviced and grades, cleans, seeds, and repairs the area
• Removes old sewer lines for new system installation
• Checks lines for proper flow prior to leaving work area
• Obtains customer approvals for work
• Maintains and fuels vehicle and stocks the service truck with adequate parts
• Transports materials and tools to the job site and provides proper accounting of tools
• Completes all required documentation on services and may collects/record fees for delivery to the office

Qualifications

What You Need:

• At least 2+ years of plumbing excavation experience

• Mini excavator/backhoe/heavy equipment experience

• Ability to lift equipment and work in crawlspaces or tight areas

• Ability to work safely and efficiently on job sites

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Must pass background check and drug screen

• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
