The project is a major infrastructure programme for a mixed-use development aiming to be a global landmark recognized for its unique vision and position as an authentic destination in Riyadh. The community will be a distinct, self-sustaining hub for Riyadh offering several iconic assets. KBR will provide PMO services, enterprise – level governance, assurance, integration and performance oversight across all projects and programs.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Project Controls Director, the Senior Risk Manager is responsible provide portfolio-wide risk management services to support effective governance, decision-making, and assurance across the portfolio, in alignment with approved risk policies, frameworks, and systems.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

·       Develop, implement, and administer the approved Risk Management Plan (RMP), including procedures, processes, and templates.

·       Review and supervise Risk Management Plans and risk registers of the PMCs to ensure alignment with the Risk Management Plan.

·       Support the implementation and effective use of risk management systems.

·       Provide guidance and training to PMCs to ensure consistent and effective application of risk management practices.

·       Facilitate Risk meetings and develop Risk Registers for Delivery Programmes and client departments

·       Facilitate mitigation strategies for risks and issues through consolidation of risk registers, meetings, and workshops.

·       Consolidate PMC risk registers into programme-level and departmental risk registers for escalation and reporting.

·       Maintain updated Dashboards for risks and issues across the Portfolio the entire Development.

·       Monthly risk management quality assurance reviews and status updates.

·       Quantitative risk analysis (QRA) of programme-wide strategic, cost, schedule, and advance-warning for risks.

·       Developing cost and schedule contingency assessments at programme and portfolio levels.

·       Supporting Operational Risk Assessments across client departments.

·       Preparation of risk assessment documentation and reports in accordance with Risk Management Plan standards.

·       Key Risk Indicator (KRI) reporting across the Development in alignment with established criteria.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

·       Bachelors degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, business management, or equivalent.

·       Minimum 15 years of post-graduation experience.

·       PMI-Risk Management Professional, RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional, or equivalent certification.

·       Sound knowledge of risks aspects for major civil, infrastructure, and development projects, including urban developments, high-rise buildings, iconic assets, roads, bridges, and utilities.  

·       Experience in managing a team of subordinate Risk Managers.

·       Experienced user of MS Office and understanding of project management software for risk reporting.

·       Fluency in English language both written and spoken.
