As a Workday Finance - Senior Associate you will provide consulting services across Workday finance applications, analyzing client needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support that helps improve operational efficiency within our Business Application Consulting practice. As a Senior Associate you will manage assigned workstreams, build client connections, navigate complex situations, and mentor junior team members while deepening your technical skills and broadening your understanding of the business context. In this role at PwC, you will contribute to Workday finance delivery efforts, interpret client feedback, use data to inform recommendations, and support the broader objectives of each engagement.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing client finance processes and translating requirements into Workday Finance design options
- Configuring Workday Finance features to support accounting, reporting, and operational workflows
- Supporting implementation workstreams by tracking tasks, resolving issues, and maintaining delivery timelines
- Reviewing functional requirements and mapping business needs to Workday system capabilities
- Testing configuration updates, validating results, and documenting outcomes for client review
- Preparing training materials and guiding users through new processes and system changes
- Interpreting data and transaction flows to identify process gaps and recommend improvements
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to address integration points and deployment dependencies
- Mentoring junior team members by reviewing assigned tasks and sharing Workday project knowledge
- Building client relationships by anticipating needs and responding to changing priorities
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 3 years of experience of Workday product experience
- Current pursuit of or an a Workday Pro certification
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
What Sets You Apart
- Preference for a Master's or Masters of Business Administration degree in at least one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Business Administration/Management, Computer Science/Information Systems, Finance, Human Resources/Industrial Relations, Organizational Management/Behavior
- Demonstrating Workday Finance configuration experience in client-facing engagements
- Translating finance business processes into Workday solutions
- Analyzing complex data to inform recommendations and next steps
