What you'll do...
- Completes work assignments and priorities by utilizing policies, data, and resources; collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners; identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carrying out assigned tasks; communicating progress and relevant information; identifying and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapting to and learning from change, challenges, and feedback.
- Manages freight flow by manually moving and loading freight and utilizing powered equipment, such as single and double pallet jacks, lifts, and pacers.
- Identifies, counts, separates, combines, and scans freight to ensure accurate and efficient product movement.
- Utilizes warehouse management systems, terminals, scales, scanners, and other applicable technology and equipment.
- Maintains accurate records, logs, forms, and other required documentation.
- Maintains an organized and safe work area to support efficient freight flow.
- Stacks empty pallets and moves pallets using manual pallet jacks and/or powered material-handling equipment.
- Monitors freight to ensure compliance with cold-chain requirements and species-separation standards.
- Safely operates palletizing machinery and other material-handling equipment in accordance with established procedures.
- Performs order-picking activities accurately and efficiently to support operational and customer requirements.
- Operates pallet jacks and other powered equipment in accordance with company safety standards and established operating procedures.
- Follows established cold-chain procedures to maintain product integrity, quality, and food safety requirements.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, ethical standards, and standards of conduct.
- Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans, utilizing the Open Door Policy, and applying these standards when executing business processes and practices.

The hourly wage range for this position is $23.00 - $28.80* *The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
