The Role

In this role, you will support the administration and coordination of tennis programs at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. You will help coordinate program schedules, registrations, communications, and systems while providing a high level of service to the NTC tennis community. You will work closely with internal teams to support day-to-day program operations, promotional efforts, events, and tournaments.

  • Coordinate the annual program schedule to ensure programs, classes, and registrations are published accurately and on time.
  • Execute promotional strategies across multiple channels, including flyers, website content, social media, and email communications.
  • Respond to inquiries related to NTC programs, class assignments, group bookings, events, and tournaments in a timely and professional manner.
  • Serve as an administrator for program and scheduling systems, including CourtReserve, and coordinate Tennis Professional scheduling as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Business Manager and Programs Manager to support the organization, promotion, and sale of tennis program registrations, court time, and events while delivering a high level of service to the NTC tennis community.
  • Compile, maintain, and analyze program participation data, metrics, and reports as needed.
  • Maintain accurate participant playing-level qualifications and program database records.
  • Develop a strong understanding of USTA and NTC playing-level qualifications, program offerings, registration periods, and important deadlines.
  • Support USTA NTC tournaments, special events, and US Open operations as assigned.
  • Perform additional administrative and operational responsibilities to support the overall needs of the facility.

Who You Are

  • Previous experience in program administration, scheduling, customer service, sports programming, recreation, or a related area preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience working with scheduling, registration, or database management systems; familiarity with CourtReserve is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Comfortable responding to participant inquiries and communicating program information clearly and professionally.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate schedules, records, registrations, and participant information.
  • Comfortable working with data and compiling program participation reports and metrics.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams while also working independently when needed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
  • Interest in tennis, sports, recreation, or community programming is a plus.
  • Ability to work onsite at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center and support tournaments, events, and US Open operations as needed.

The expected range for the annual base salary for this position is $45,000 to $50,000. Any additional pay or benefits a person may qualify for, are not included in this range. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
