Description
Position Summary:
The Host / Hostess is responsible for creating a welcoming first impression for guests at Gallaghers Pizza. This position includes greeting customers, managing seating, answering phones, assisting with takeout orders, and helping maintain a clean and organized front-of-house area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet all guests promptly and courteously upon arrival.
- Seat guests and manage the dining room seating rotation.
- Answer incoming phone calls professionally and direct calls as needed.
- Assist customers with takeout orders and pickups.
- Notify servers when guests are seated.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming entrance and host station.
- Assist with menus, silverware, table cleaning, and other front-of-house duties as needed.
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management.
- Follow Gallaghers Pizza policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
- Handle customer questions and concerns professionally and notify management when necessary.
- Assist other team members during busy periods.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by management.
