The Spa at The Moorings Yacht & Country Club is seeking a friendly, energetic, and enthusiastic Spa Receptionist to join our team!
We are looking for someone with a bubbly, welcoming personality who genuinely enjoys interacting with members and guests and takes pride in creating a positive spa experience from the moment they arrive.
The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, proactive, and a true team player. Someone who sees what needs to be done, takes initiative, and can confidently coordinate a busy spa environment while providing exceptional service.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Warmly greet members and their guests and assist with inquiries
- Answer incoming phone calls, direct calls to correct department if necessary
- Schedule and coordinate spa appointments, including working with multiple service providers and managing appointment changes
- Maintain a cooperative, professional work relationship and attitude with members, guests, and staff
- Maintain established club policies, procedures, standards, and objectives.
- Remain knowledgeable about spa offerings and events
- Stock and replenish Spa facility with supplies and products (water, towels, etc.)
- Respond to member and guest concerns in a prompt professional courteous manner
- Operate the Point-of-Sale system and charge members appropriately
- Maintain privacy of members’ paperwork and health conditions. Sharing information with another member, employee, or other person is strictly prohibited
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and spa areas
- Assist the spa team with daily operations
- All other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
- Exceptional customer service skills, and professional communication
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment
- Proactive, reliable and able to work independently
- Dependable and punctual
- Positive attitude, team player
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule: Monday - Friday
Experience: Customer service experience required; previous spa reception or spa scheduling experience strongly preferred
