About Niagara Falls Community Health Centre

At Niagara Falls Community Health Centre (NFCHC), we are more than a healthcare facility. We are a community hub dedicated to improving the lives of people who face barriers to care.

Our diverse and inclusive team provides holistic, community-based healthcare with a focus on health equity, prevention, and addressing the underlying factors that influence health and well-being. We are committed to creating a supportive work environment that values collaboration, professional growth, work-life balance, and employee well-being.

Position Overview

The Occupational Therapist plays an important role in supporting clients to maintain and improve their functional abilities, independence, and overall quality of life. Working as part of NFCHC's interdisciplinary primary care team, this position provides occupational therapy assessments, education, and individualized support to clients with a range of health conditions and functional needs.

Responsibilities include assessing activities of daily living (ADLs), mobility, ambulation, and cognitive function; identifying accessibility and falls prevention concerns; and supporting clients managing chronic pain and respiratory conditions. The role also contributes to group programming, health education, and the development of educational resources that promote client health and independence.

The successful candidate will bring strong clinical assessment skills, a collaborative approach, and an interest in delivering accessible, community-based care. This is an opportunity to work across a variety of clinical and community settings while contributing to a team committed to improving health outcomes for the people it serves.
