Nature of Organization:
The occupational therapy department at UWMC provides occupational therapy services to patients throughout the medical center. Staff are dedicated to providing the highest quality, patient-centered care.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The occupational therapy student assistant will help with daily operations of the inpatient occupational therapy department. Responsibilities will include, but not limited to: Assisting with general inventory, maintenance and cleaning of OT treatment areas, assist the occupational therapist with handling patient equipment during 1:1 treatment session when appropriate, assisting staff in department specific projects
Minimum Qualifications:
Good interpersonal skills and communication. Resourceful, flexible, and dependable Ability to work independently on projects after initial instruction
