The Credentialing Analyst II reports to the NYP Manager of Payer Enrollment. The Analyst II is responsible for assisting the Manager with all aspects of the Managed Care/delegated credentialing and/or re-credentialing process for the Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals. 


Preferred Criteria 

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • NAMSS Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS)
  • One to two years relevant experience in an academic medical center

Required Criteria

  • High School Diploma
  • Two years direct experience with medical staff credentialing
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures used in health care and physician credentialing. 

  • Excellent communications and writing skills
  • Must have intermediate knowledge of Credentialing Software (Cactus) and  Microsoft Office products
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and can function independently with minimal direction
