What you'll be doing
As part of the Adoption and Accessibility Chapter within Experience Design, Digital Platforms and Mass Market, you’ll help ensure our client-facing and employee-facing platforms and applications are accessible and inclusive for people of all abilities. As an Accessibility Specialist, you’ll work closely with user experience professionals, including Content Writers, Visual Designers, and User Experience Researchers, as well as Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, and Quality Assurance Testers. You’ll assess products and design solutions against digital accessibility standards while supporting a seamless banking experience for both employees and clients. You’ll provide recommendations for design and development that align with CIBC’s inclusive design standards, helping ensure employees who use assistive technologies can effectively use our servicing tools. You’ll also deliver consultation and education to partner teams, helping build accessibility awareness and supporting high standards of employee and client satisfaction.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
