This is a newly created position offering a unique opportunity to join this organization. You will serve right hand to the CFO. The family office will oversee a substantial real estate portfolio and multiple privately held operating companies. Key Responsibilities Lead accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close across multiple entities. Ensure compliance with GAAP, including complex revenue recognition principles. Establish accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures. Manage and maintain banking relationships. Oversee financial activities for real estate investments and portfolio companies. Partner directly with the CEO on financial and operational decisions. Build, lead, and develop the accounting function as the family office grows. Qualifications Active CPA required. Strong foundation in public accounting and audit, combined with private industry experience. Excellent technical accounting, GAAP, and revenue recognition expertise. Experience managing complex, multi-entity accounting environments. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build processes and take ownership.
