Medication Technician

Medication Technician - $15.00-$17.00/hour
Tallahassee, FL | Full-Time & Part-Time | Multiple Shifts Available

At Tapestry Senior Living of Lakeshore, our Medication Technicians do more than pass medications. This is a hands-on caregiving role where you'll spend time on the floor supporting residents with daily care needs while building meaningful relationships and monitoring their overall well-being. Credit given for experience.

What You'll Do:

• Safely and accurately pass medications to residents, managing a large med pass of 20+ residents per shift
• Document medications and resident information in the eMAR system
• Work the floor as part of the caregiving team, providing direct resident care throughout your shift
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly report concerns
• Support the care team with communication, shift coordination, and resident needs
• Maintain a clean, safe environment that follows care plans and state regulations

What You'll Need:

• Active Medication Technician Certificate
• 1-2 years of Med Tech experience in a senior care or medical setting preferred
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
• Ability to follow care plans, communicate effectively, and document clearly
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to quality resident care
• Willingness to work both as a Medication Technician and caregiver on the floor

Schedule:

Full-Time & Part-Time Available

• 7:00 AM-3:00 PM
• 3:00 PM-11:00 PM
• 11:00 PM-7:00 AM

Rotating weekends and holidays required for all shifts.
