Technical Project Manager – Hospitality (Thailand)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery and implementation of software solutions for hospitality customers across Thailand. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end project delivery, including planning, requirements gathering, implementation, testing, deployment, and customer handover.

The successful candidate will work closely with customers, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and third-party vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a customer-facing role requiring excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle from project initiation through deployment and closure.
• Partner with customers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource plans, budgets, and risk registers.
• Ensure all project documentation is complete and maintained, including Statements of Work (SOWs), status reports, change requests, and project closure documents.
• Coordinate internal teams, customers, vendors, and third-party partners throughout project execution.
• Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations.
• Facilitate testing activities, defect management, and production deployment planning.
• Ensure solutions meet customer requirements and quality expectations.
• Manage change requests and ensure alignment between customer expectations and project deliverables.
• Provide regular project status updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance implementation efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure projects comply with company standards, governance processes, and industry best practices.
• Support pilot deployments, site rollouts, and post-implementation activities as required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5-7 years of Project Management experience within software delivery, professional services, or technology implementations.
• Proven experience delivering customer-facing software implementation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage effectively across all organizational levels.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
• Experience managing project budgets, timelines, and resources.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Thai and English.
• Experience creating and managing Statements of Work (SOWs), project plans, and project documentation.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to successful completion.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with Hospitality, Restaurant, Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), Retail, or POS solutions.
• Experience implementing enterprise software, cloud-based solutions, or SaaS products.
• Knowledge of point-of-sale (POS), payment, ordering, kitchen display, or back-office systems.
• Experience working with international and geographically distributed teams.
• Understanding of cloud technologies and modern software deployment practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Must be a Thai Citizen.
• Must be willing to travel within Thailand as required for customer implementations and project activities.
• Ability to work with customers during non-standard business hours when supporting critical deployments or go-live activities.
• Work from company offices and customer site, as required
• Proficiency in English is required, with strong verbal and written communication skills essential for effective interaction with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams
