Health Educator

Position: Health Educator at Vail Psychologist pllc.inenThe Vail Psychologist pllc.inen is seeking a passionate and experienced Health Educator to join our multidisciplinary team. We are a progressive mental health practice dedicated to providing holistic and integrative care to our clients.As a Health Educator, you will be responsible for promoting and facilitating healthy behaviors and lifestyles among our clients. Your role will involve working closely with our team of psychologists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement integrated treatment plans.Key Responsibilities:Conduct assessments and evaluations of clients' health needs, interests, and behaviorsDesign, develop, and implement health education programs based on clients' needs and interests, utilizing evidence-based research and practicesConduct individual and group sessions to educate clients on various health topics, such as nutrition, exercise, stress management, mindfulness, and self-careCollaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care for clientsDevelop and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, and other relevant stakeholders to promote health education and prevention programsCreate and distribute educational materials, such as brochures, flyers, and educational videos, to enhance clients' understanding of various health topicsMonitor and track clients' progress and provide appropriate feedback and supportStay updated on current trends and developments in health education and promotion to continuously enhance our programs and servicesMaintain accurate and organized documentation of all client interactions, education sessions, and program evaluationsQualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health Education, Public Health, Nutrition, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of experience in health education or wellness promotionStrong knowledge of health behavior change theories, evidence-based practices, and current health trends and issuesExcellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team settingPassion for promoting health and wellness in individuals and communitiesProficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant softwareFamiliarity with electronic medical records and data tracking systems is a plusOur team at Vail Psychologist pllc.inen is dedicated to creating a supportive and empowering work environment where employees can thrive both personally and professionally.
