Are you a Registered Nurse with long-term care or skilled nursing experience who enjoys leading teams, supporting resident-centered care, and helping others succeed?

 

Immanuel Communities is seeking an RN Neighborhood Team Lead to join our team at Newport House, located at 6798 North 67th Plaza, Omaha, NE 68152. Newport House features 24 skilled nursing and rehabilitation suites and 72 long-term care suites, providing exceptional care to residents with a wide range of clinical needs.

 

In this role, you'll provide clinical leadership for a skilled nursing and long-term care neighborhood, support and coach a team of nursing professionals, collaborate with interdisciplinary partners, and ensure residents receive exceptional care and service every day. You will play a key role in coordinating care plans, supporting admissions and resident transitions, mentoring team members, and building strong relationships with residents and their families.

 

This is a Monday through Friday day-shift position with flexibility based on resident needs, admissions activity, and operational priorities.

 

Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills, and education.

Job Duties & Skills Required

What You Will Do

This position contributes to the Mission and Vision of Immanuel by serving as a designated functional lead with oversight of the day to day activities of their operations and team members.  Provides management support to plan, organize and lead resources with assigned team members; as well as functioning as an individual contributor within the department. Participates in operationalizing Immanuel strategic initiatives and priorities. Serves as a role model for ethical management behavior and promotes an awareness and understanding of positive ethical and moral principles.

 

Skills & Requirements

Completion of a Registered Nurse program in an accredited institution required.

Must hold current license as a Registered Nurse in Nebraska or Iowa, Nebraska and Iowa are Compact States so the license must be held in the state of residence.

Minimum of three (3) years of progressive experience as a Registered Nurse in a Skilled Nursing center and/or medical/surgical setting preferred.
