Key Responsibilities:
1. Indirect Sourcing Process Set-up
- Establish new team and roles framework.
- Design and standardize procurement processes for indirect materials, equipment, and services, including MRO.
- Build comprehensive internal procedures from purchase request (PR) to purchase order (PO), contract management, and payment.
- Ensure compliance with internal regulations and company policies.
2. Indirect Sourcing Management
- Systematically operate RFI/RFP, bidding, supplier evaluation, and selection procedures.
- Evaluate existing and potential suppliers through due diligence and assessment to select high-performing vendors.
- Negotiate and optimize contract terms by considering cost, lead time, and quality requirements.
- Strengthen negotiation leverage and supply chain competitiveness through procurement performance and supplier evaluation results.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Gather and reflect requirements for new services and materials from relevant departments to optimize operations.
- Promote information sharing and coordination among departments to quickly resolve issues related to production, materials, and quality, and identify improvement opportunities.
4. Performance Analysis
- Analyze procurement results, cost savings, on-time delivery rate, and other major KPIs.
- Conduct supplier performance assessments and develop improvement plans.
- Prepare periodic reports for management, offering insights and improvement opportunities.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Identify areas for process improvement and introduce best practices.
- Analyze indirect sourcing results to continuously discover improvement opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, International Trade, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain management or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management or related roles in manufacturing (purchasing, production management, production planning).
- Strong proficiency in English (business level required).
- Experience and proficiency in ERP systems (MRO/purchasing modules), data aggregation, analysis, and reporting; advanced skills in Excel.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across departments.
- People managing over 3years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Possession of purchasing-related certifications (CPSM, KPM, CPIM, etc.).
- Experience with global supply chain management and/or multinational corporations or overseas branches.
- Project management experience including supply chain setup, overseas joint ventures, or project leadership.
- Background in battery, electrical, electronics, chemical, or manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
