Your Opportunity: Taylor Visual Impressions is looking for a skilled Equipment Operator (Finishing) to manage both finishing equipment and Guillotine Cutters in a fast-paced environment. You’ll take the lead on complex finishing jobs, perform color calibrations, and ensure high-quality output throughout the production run.

Your Shift:

  • 4x10 Shift (Monday - Thursday)
  • 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM

Your Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret job tickets to set up finishing and press equipment correctly
  • Operate a variety of equipment including folding, stitching, coiling, cutting, gluing, and digital presses
  • Conduct color calibration and maintain consistent color output on digital presses
  • Inspect work for quality assurance throughout the production process
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
  • Track inventory, place finished goods in designated areas, and maintain accurate labels
  • Coordinate with production leads to meet job deadlines
  • Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures

You Must Have:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently
  • Solid understanding of production workflows and quality standards
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple jobs under time constraints
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and open to flexible shifts/overtime

Requirements within this position:

  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
  • Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
  • Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
  • Frequently required to move inside the facility
  • Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Experience in a commercial printing, packaging, or manufacturing environment
  • Familiarity with digital press platforms and color management processes
  • Experience performing basic equipment adjustments and preventative maintenance
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, 5S, or continuous improvement principles
  • Experience using job tracking, inventory, or production management systems
  • Ability to train or assist less experienced team members
  • Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment
  • Strong attention to detail with a proven record of producing high-quality work
