Job Description
As a Security Officer Patrol Route Driver in Denton, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. - Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and/or store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with store leadership and emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter locations.
- Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, policy violations, and/or other security-related concerns to appropriate personnel to help deter theft and unauthorized activity.
- Complete accurate activity reports and incident documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and location-specific procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
