Description
Position Overview:
Maximum Services, Inc., a leading excavation and civil construction company based in Kremmling, CO, is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team. If you have experience operating heavy equipment and are committed to safety, efficiency, and quality work, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently on construction and excavation sites.
- Perform daily pre-operation and post-operation inspections.
- Maintain and care for assigned equipment.
- Dig and backfill trenches, excavations, perform cuts and fills to establish specified grades and provide compaction to meet requirements.
- Report any mechanical or operational issues to supervisor promptly.
- Follow site plans, grades, and specific instructions accurately.
- Work independently and collaboratively with crew members and supervisors.
- Assist with manual labor tasks when needed (e.g., lifting, shoveling, hand/power tools).
- Ensure safety at all times around equipment and other team members.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating heavy equipment.
- Experience with multiple equipment types preferred: excavator, loader, dozer, skid steer, motor grader, compactor, etc.
- Prior excavation, utility, and finish grading experience preferred.
- Ability to read site plans and follow directions accurately.
- Strong work ethic and positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Good communication skills and safety-first mindset.
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential.
