Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Change Manager to lead and support significant change initiatives within United Overseas Bank (Malaysia) Bhd. This role is crucial in ensuring successful adoption and realization of benefits from strategic projects, minimizing disruption, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies and plans for various projects, including stakeholder analysis, communication planning, training needs assessment, and resistance management.
• Work closely with project teams, business units, and IT to integrate change management activities into project plans.
• Identify potential people-side risks and anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns.
• Conduct impact assessments, readiness assessments, and benefit realization tracking to measure the effectiveness of change initiatives.
• Facilitate workshops, presentations, and meetings to engage stakeholders and build understanding and commitment to change.
• Develop and deliver effective communication materials tailored to different audiences within the organization.
• Coach and support project sponsors, line managers, and project teams in their roles as change leaders.
• Monitor and report on change progress, issues, and successes to senior management.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the bank's change management methodology and capabilities.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in change management, project management, or a related consulting role, preferably within the financial services industry.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing complex change initiatives in a large organization.
• Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
