Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize effectively to meet broader business needs. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to build constructive and effective relationships through diplomacy, tact, and fair treatment of employees. As a Production Supervision Student, you will work closely with supervisors and production teams to gain exposure to the various aspects of manufacturing operations management. You will contribute to daily production activities, monitor selected performance indicators, and support continuous improvement initiatives. This experience will allow you to develop your leadership, problem-solving, and operations management skills in a dynamic environment. Support supervisors in coordinating daily production activities. Assist in monitoring production schedules and priorities. Track selected production indicators and help identify variances or opportunities for improvement. Participate in continuous improvement projects related to safety, quality, efficiency, and waste reduction. Collaborate with production employees and various teams to support the smooth flow of operations. Contribute to updating procedures, work tools, training materials, and other operational documents. Participate in analyzing operational issues and propose potential solutions with guidance from the team. Support initiatives aimed at maintaining a safe, clean work environment that complies with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Collaborate with various functions, including quality, engineering, and operations teams, on projects or initiatives. Prepare or update reports and tracking documents related to production activities. Develop a practical understanding of a supervisor's role and the realities of managing a team in a manufacturing environment. Promptly report to your supervisor any situation that could affect product safety or quality.
