Overview
HealthPRO Pediatrics has an immediate need for a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to provide short-term school-based coverage across two elementary schools in Washington State. This is a great opportunity for an RN looking to pick up additional hours, with the assignment projected through October and the possibility of extension through the end of the school year.

Responsibilities
- Consult and collaborate with School staff and families in regards to students’ health and wellness.
- Participate in the IEP process in developing present levels of performance, goals and objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for nursing services
- Provide nursing services through the use of current best practices based on prescribed services in the IEP
- Maintain all documentation required by the district and ASHA’s code of ethics including, but not limited to, daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEP’s
Qualifications
- Active Washington State RN license in good standing
- ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- School nursing or pediatric experience preferred
- Experience managing Individual Health Plans (IHPs), medication administration, and student health needs preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently across two elementary school locations
- Knowledge of Washington State RN scope of practice and school health requirements
