Role Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Regional Product Marketing Manager to lead the growth and development of our product portfolio across Asia.

 

This role is responsible for driving portfolio success through effective portfolio management, new product development, market expansion, and commercial execution.

 

Working closely with regional stakeholders and local market teams, the successful candidate will shape the product roadmap, oversee the product lifecycle, and ensure the portfolio remains competitive, and aligned with customer and market requirements.

 

The role requires a strong combination of strategic thinking, commercial acumen, market insight, and stakeholder management. The incumbent will also serve as a key ambassador for the organisation, representing the business at industry events, customer engagements, seminars, and training programmes across the region.

 

Key responsibilities and activities include, but is not limited to:  


Portfolio Strategy & Management

  • Own the performance and lifecycle of the assigned product portfolio across Asia, including portfolio expansion, optimisation, and rationalisation.
  • Define portfolio strategies, product roadmaps, and product hierarchy aligned with regional priorities.
  • Identify portfolio gaps, customer needs, and industry trends to drive portfolio enhancement.
  • Manage product portfolio data, including article creation and maintenance, to ensure portfolio integrity and market relevance.

New Product Development & Innovation

  • Lead the identification, evaluation, and launch of new product opportunities.
  • Translate customer insights, market developments, and competitive intelligence into product development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to deliver commercially viable product launches and maintain a strong innovation pipeline.
  • Leverage knowledge of manufacturing capabilities and product technologies to ensure offerings remain relevant and competitive.

Market Development & Execution

  • Identify and prioritise target countries, segments and business opportunities across the region.
  • Partner with Country Marketing and Sales teams to implement product launches, promotional campaigns, customer engagement programmes, seminars, and market development initiatives.
  • Ensure consistent product positioning, value propositions, and messaging across markets to strengthen product awareness and market presence.

 

Commercial Performance & Excellence

  • Deliver sales, profitability, and market performance targets for the assigned portfolio.
  • Develop and maintain pricing frameworks that support product positioning, and financial performance.
  • Monitor portfolio performance and address commercial, operational, or technical factors impacting business results.
  • Maintain accurate product, pricing, and portfolio information within relevant business systems.
  • Drive compliance with product management processes, governance standards, and approval requirements.
  • Support the implementation of portfolio changes, product launches, and pricing updates through effective cross-functional coordination.

 

Market Intelligence

  • Monitor customer trends, regulatory changes, and competitive activity.
  • Generate insights to support portfolio decisions, pricing strategies, and product development priorities.
  • Evaluate competitor activities and recommend actions to strengthen market position and capture emerging opportunities.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the regional subject matter expert for the assigned portfolio.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams on product development, business development, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the region.
  • Ensure customer-facing teams have the product knowledge and resources required to effectively position and promote the portfolio through training, technical papers, sales tools, and marketing collaterals
  • Represent the organisation at customer engagements, industry events, seminars, and training programmes.

Skills & Experience - Essential

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Engineering, Business or a related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in product/segment management, product marketing, or a related role
  • Strong commercial, analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across functions and cultures.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing capabilities, technical considerations, and market dynamics relevant to the product portfolio.

Skill & Experience - Desirable

  • Regional or multi-country experience within Asia.
  • Experience in building materials, construction, industrial, manufacturing, or other B2B environments.
  • Technical product knowledge, including familiarity with product applications, specifications, testing requirements, industry standards, certifications, and manufacturing processes.
  • Familiarity with product data management, commercial systems, and governance processes.
  • Experience delivering product training, customer presentations, and industry seminars
