MEDICAL RECORDS CLERK, Full Time - Albany Care, Evanston, IL
Albany Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility (SMHRF) in Evanston, IL, has an opening for a Medical Records Clerk. This is a Monday-Friday, Full Time 1st Shift, Union Position, with a Pay Rate of $19.50 per hour

Responsibilities if the Medical Records Clerk:
- Promptly respond to requests for retrieving medical records and files
- Collect patient information
- Process patient admissions
- Upload all necessary documents into EMR
- Ensure necessary medical forms are in stock
- Schedule appts and transportation for residents

Requirements
of the Medical Records Clerk
- Previous medical records clerk experience
- Familiar with medical terminology
- Knowledge of long term care facilities regulations helpful
- Exceptional attention to details
- Highly organized
- Computer proficient
- Must speak, read, and write English
- Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding of those with psychiatric conditions
