Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Response in Grove City, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned healthcare facility areas, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notification procedures.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized access as directed, and providing directions to visitors and guests.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and promptly in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be willing to receive required hospital vaccines.
• Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
• Must be able to restrain individuals when necessary.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
