Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Relations in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will conduct routine patrols throughout an assigned property, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and tenants. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use technology to document activity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols throughout assigned commercial properties, parking areas, building perimeters, and common areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report unauthorized access or policy violations.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations accurately in required reports and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
