AE-RA-Tuteur / TA-RA-Tutor : $33.83 ou/or $53.31 (Sept. 2026 - Aug. 2027)

Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate.


These rates do not include vacation pay nor statutory pay.

65-hour RA contract with Professor Timothy Stanley.


Documenting Chinese Exclusion: Digitizing the C.I.-44 Database:


Description of Tasks:

1) Create a Google Sheets Database listing the key elements of the C.I.-44 forms.

2) Search through the on-line PDF and pull out all residents of the City of Montreal and the Province of Québec.

3) Link the on-line locations to each entry in the Google Sheets database.


Qualifications:

1) Must be a PhD student in Education holding an entrance scholarship;

2) Knowledge of people and things Chinese including of Chinese history, Chinese Canadian history, Overseas Chinese history, or of the history of racism in Canada;

3) Familiarity with historical naming practices in Guangdong province; and

4) Knowledge of spreadsheets.
