General Purpose of the Job:  

The Design Quality Engineer (DQE) is responsible to ensure the function of Quality Assurance during the stages of design and development of infusion products.  The DQE shall adhere to the highest possible professional standards while quality and integrity are maintained in the development and sustaining engineering associated with infusion medical products.

Duties/Responsibilities and Tasks 

• Provide Quality Assurance support throughout product development, verification, validation, and sustaining activities, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and internal QMS requirements.
• Review and ensure quality compliance of design and project documentation, including specifications, protocols, reports, engineering studies, and engineering changes.
• Participate as the QA representative in design reviews and project meetings, identifying compliance gaps and partnering with Engineering to resolve them.
• Perform and support risk assessments, statistical analysis, test method validations, and Design for Manufacturing quality requirements.
• Define quality requirements for new components and contribute to the selection of new suppliers.
• Identify and implement quality system and design process improvements.
• Support complaint investigations, lead complaint data analysis, and report relevant findings to management.
• Promote awareness and a strong culture of quality, regulatory compliance, and customer requirements across the organization.
• Perform additional responsibilities based on business and departmental needs.

Education and/or experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in any Engineering or Science area (Industrial, Chemical, Materials, Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline within the medical devices industry) from a recognized university; and five years of work experience in design and/or manufacture of medical products fabricated from extruded, injection molded or electric components.

• Experience in Medical Devices industry environment.

• English Spoken is a requirement (C1 level minimum)
