SERVER

Fargo Country Club (managed by Troon) is looking for friendly, dependable, and service-focused Servers to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with members and guests in a professional club environment and takes pride in providing exceptional hospitality.

Pay: $9.00 per hour + service charge

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, professional service to club members and guests.

• Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.

• Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.

• Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining proper presentation.

• Answer questions about menu items, beverages, and describe daily specials.

• Maintain clean, organized, and well-presented workstations, dining and service areas.

• Set and clear tables before, during, and after service.

• Process guest checks and payments accurately.

• Communicate effectively with kitchen, bar, banquet, and management staff.

• Assist with dining room setup, closing duties, and special events.

• Provide excellent hospitality and help create a welcoming experience for members and guests.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and club policies.

• Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, wine service, tray service and general service techniques.

Qualifications

• Previous serving, restaurant, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred.

• Strong communication and customer-service skills.

• Professional, friendly, and dependable attitude.

• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.

• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed.

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift/carry trays and other items as required.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year serving experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Must be able to meet state age requirements for handling alcohol for this position. 18 or older, 21+ preferred for table wine service.

Schedule

Flexible scheduling with evening, weekend, and special-event shifts available. Schedule may vary based on club activities, events, and member needs.
