Position Summary...

The Senior Manager, Automation Engineering leads the design, integration, and continuous improvement of MHE systems within supply chain operations. This role leverages advanced data analysis and project management to drive operational excellence and process enhancements. The position requires influencing cross-functional teams through clear communication and strategic insights, ensuring alignment with business objectives. The successful candidate will oversee automation implementation, optimize workflows, and support technology adoption while fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency to deliver measurable business impact.
About the team:
The team leads detailed design and implementation of projects within the Ambient network, playing a key role in advancing supply chain automation initiatives. Responsibilities include making layout decisions and ensuring designs meet mechanical, electrical, fire protection, air, and associate requirements. Collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders such as Maintenance, Operations, Safety, Construction, and Global Technology ensures installations fulfill all needs. The team drives operational excellence through process improvement, project management, and data analysis, supporting long-term success and continuous enhancement of automation systems within the supply chain.

What you'll do...

• Lead the design, development, and integration of automation systems to enhance operational efficiency and process improvement.
• Utilize data analysis tools to interpret complex data, develop insights, and influence strategic decisions.
• Manage projects by planning, organizing, and monitoring progress while mitigating risks and ensuring timely delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement technology changes.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including implementation plans, test criteria, and status reports.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing workflows and recommending optimized solutions.
• Oversee financial analyses to evaluate automation investments and ensure alignment with business objectives.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
