We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer focused Employer Enrollment Representative to join our team. In this role, you will monitor a shared inbox, process employer group and employee benefit requests, and complete enrollment related tasks through various online systems and portals. The ideal candidate is organized, has strong written communication skills, pays close attention to detail, and can quickly learn new systems and processes.

This is a seasonal role scheduled to end 03/31/2027

What you’ll do:

  • Monitor and manage a shared inbox, reviewing and responding to requests from employer groups.

  • Process requests such as employee terminations, adding or cancelling coverage, and other benefit changes.

  • Determine whether requests can be handled directly or need to be routed to another department.

  • Complete enrollment and benefit-related tasks through various online portals and systems.

  • Send and manage recertifications and maintain accurate documentation.

  • Review detailed paperwork and information while following specific procedures and carrier requirements.

  • Assist existing team members while learning processes, systems, and responsibilities.

  • Demonstrate eHealth’s values in your behaviors, practices, and decisions.

Who you are:

  • You have a high school diploma or GED; an associate degree or college coursework is preferred.

  • You have 1–2 years of experience in health plan enrollment, healthcare administration, insurance operations, or a related field.

  • You have experience working with enrollment or health insurance systems.

  • You are highly detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.

  • You are comfortable handling confidential and sensitive member information with discretion.

  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word. Sales force experience is a plus but not required.

  • You have a working knowledge of Medicare and/or ACA enrollment guidelines preferred.

  • You are organized, resourceful, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The base pay range reflects the anticipated pay range for this position. The actual base pay offered will depend on various factors including individual skills, experience, performance, qualifications, the department budget, and the location where work is performed. Base pay is one component of eHealth’s total rewards package, which also includes an annual performance bonus, plus an array of benefits designed to support employees’ personal and professional wellness.
